On February 17th, 2005, YUSEN AIR & SEA SERVICE CO., LTD. opened the CHUBU LOGISTICS CENTER in "Centrair", Central Japan International Airport. It is the industry's largest container freight station (CFS) in Centrair.
In addition to its good location, the warehouse has an air conditioned area and has the latest IT and cargo handling systems.

SECURITY AND SAFETY CONTROL MANAGEMENT
The facility is constructed on the airport island, which is in a superior environment with the latest security and safety control measures. YAS monitors important cargo 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, for crimes such as theft with a central surveillance system and ITV monitoring system.
PROTECTION AGAINST LIQUEFACTION
Settling will not happen as the undersea floor is solid and the depth is shallow, being 6m in average (the deepest part is about 10m, and the shallowest part is about 3m). In addition the construction is protected against liquefaction by being completed with an industrial, Sand Compaction Pile Method (*).

This method is used with non-cohesive soils such as sand or gravel and it results in ground improvement.
BONDED WAREHOUSE IN AN INTEGRATED BONDED AREA
The location of our facility is within an integrated bonded area. We offer logistics services whereby overseas components can be assembled with other components produced in Japan, without undertaking customs procedures. After processing, the completed product can be exported.
REFRIGERATOR / TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY CONTROL
Storage is available to keep articles under temperature and humidity control.
EXPORT ULD HANDLING FOR SAFE TRANSPORTATION
The latest workstation is designed to allow YAS to build ULDs, which can be transported safely and quickly throughout the international YAS network.
IMPORT ULD HANDLING FOR SAFE TRANSPORTATION
YAS strives to reduce cargo-damage during transportation by our own ULD build, as well as the careful and safe break down of cargo by ourselves.
OPTIMAL WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
YAS operates two kinds of WMS (*). One is a major system from a vendor, which has various functions and is available for complicated and advanced logistics business. Another is a YAS developed system for handling simple logistics. YAS offers total cargo solutions to the customer's needs.
- *WMS (Warehouse Management System) :
Physical distribution warehouse management system. This integrates a series of warehouse processes, including inventory management, as well as storing, picking, inspection, classification, packing and shipping.
